GREEN YEAST CORP.

Green Yeast manufactures lactic yeast biomass and functional ingredients for animal health/nutrition and for human applications.

We do this in an eco-friendly and sustainable way: by recycling low value liquid agri-food by-products, which would otherwise cause serious and costly disposal problems. Those liquids contain polluting elements such as carbon and nitrogen, which are captured and assimilated by yeast in order to self-propagate.

This is achieved through a novel, cost effective technological process trademarked as ProLactis^TM. The process allows for the bioconversion of lactose-containing materials as well as other types of by-products containing carbohydrates or alcohols, such as beers, soft drinks and juices.

The end products thus obtained are on one hand a high protein, nutrient-rich yeast biomass targeting for instance the animal health/nutrition sector, and on the other hand a clean effluent ready for reuse or disposal.
